Lingerie Department- I visited on Saturday and this department was not busy at all - I had seen a advert on Instagram and decided to try on the bra - I searched for about 15/20 minutes looking and at the same time passing two shop assistants busy putting new stock out - armed with said advert I approached one of the assistants and politely asked for her assistance she couldn’t be bothered to help at first she said I’m busy with a customer and then said she’d look at the photo and reluctantly found me the bra - she never asked me if I’d like to try it on - she didn’t smile she wasn’t friendly. At one time there were 4 sales assistants chatting in the middle of section including her so I’m guessing customers don’t come first!

Visited recently, ok but ladies dept is dismissal, bland and boring, ok if you want jeans and jumpers but not much too attract the eye of up to the minute fashion. I have seen better displays in charity shops.

I wish I could give zero to them. I went to the lingerie section today and asked if they had any swimsuits. The store assistant didn't get my Accent first and asked me to repeat it three times. When she finally got my point, she was like: "you get it online". Then she left the changing room and didn't help me at all. Totally disappointed by its customer service.

Really disappointed today, the store assistant in lingerie and menswear was disinterested in serving customers, abrupt to the point of being rude. She needs to learn how to engage with their clientele or find another job suitable to her skill- set which is obviously not on the top floor of M&S in Bury St Edmunds.

I've always felt that the staff in Bury St Edmunds M+S were very helpful and friendly. However today Jacob went above and beyond.. When I asked if I could take the trolley with my heavy bags out to my car, parked just in front of the store, he carried my bags out to the car for me. Thank you Jacob for helping an old lady, you were very kind

Good branch of M&S in the heart of the town. Yes, it's expensive in the store but you get what you pay for. Food second to none, decent quality clothes. They could be a lot more fashionable admittedly, but this is M&S. It generally caters for older generations.

Lingerie staff were most unhelpful especially the one called Anne and the "lady" on the checkout (Tracy) did not make eye contact, was curt and walked away before I had packed my bags. I asked for a price 3 times before she finally answered. As a visitor to the store I will not be going again. It will be nicer to shop on line!

Called in early before work today. Lovely lady - great service. We must keep using our local M&S Big shout out to lingerie department. Fitted me with the perfect bra. 10/10 👏👏👏
